About Us
The Syringa Speaker Series brings like-minded folks together to share a good meal, enjoy great company, and learn something new while supporting local charities. We host prominent speakers in Idaho’s capital city, focusing on issues that matter most to Idahoans. Through meaningful conversations, we aim to spark ideas and inspire action.
Founded in July 2024, the Syringa Speaker Series is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Boise, Idaho. Our guiding principles are limited government, free markets, individual liberty, and personal responsibility, and those values guide our speaker selection process.
We highlight voices that matter—thought leaders with fresh ideas and valuable insights. Some are well-known names, while others are up-and-comers earning a reputation for leaving audiences inspired and full of new ideas. What all our speakers share is a commitment to preserving traditions, building stronger communities, and finding real solutions to help society thrive.
As part of each program, the Syringa Speaker Series Leadership Award celebrates local leaders and nonprofits making a real difference in Idaho. We shine a spotlight on outstanding charities and the people behind them who are tackling community needs head-on. By sharing their stories, we hope to amplify their impact and inspire others to step up and do the same.
Our events also offer the chance to sponsor a young person’s attendance because investing in Idaho future leaders is critical. We want to create opportunities for young and emerging leaders to learn, grow, and get ready for the challenges they will face as they step up to guide our state toward a brighter tomorrow.
