Registration for Events
Registering for an event shall entitle you to admittance to that event as a participant, subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to exclude from any event any individual whose name does not appear on our register of participants at the start of the event. By attending a Syringa Speaker Series event you acknowledge that photographs and filming may take place. Syringa Speaker Series reserves the right to use images and videos recorded at events with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials, including social media channels, websites, and print materials, without obtaining any further approval from you or making any payment to you.
Attendance Requirements
Each participant shall behave in a respectful, professional, and appropriate way that does not breach local laws or regulations or that risks bringing the event or Syringa Speaker Series into disrepute.
Participant Obligations
Syringa Speaker Series reserves the right to refuse entry by any participant to an event or to remove any participant from an event without any liability for any reason and at its sole discretion.
Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in and to Syringa Speaker Series events and in the content relating to Syringa Speaker Series events are the property of Syringa Speaker Series or its third-party content providers.
Changes to Event
Syringa Speaker Series reserves the right to change the format, content, venue, speakers, hosts, moderators and/or timing of an event. Syringa Speaker Series shall use its reasonable endeavors to notify all participants of any such changes prior to an event.
Limitation of Liability
You agree that your access to Syringa Speaker Series events and your use of any of the content is at your sole risk and responsibility.
Distribution of Materials
Advance permission must be obtained to distribute materials at Syringa Speaker Series events for any individual, organization, or event.
Media Policy
Events in our speaker series are generally not off the record, meaning participants should expect the content to be available for public discussion. However, if an event is designated as off the record, we will inform participants ahead of time.
